My_CNC_RouterThings are still in the very early stages of  getting organized here but I thought I would let you know that I am currently working on finishing up a CNC router I am building. Yes, I am building a CNC router! :) What the heck does this have to do with hacking model railroads? Well, picture all the really kewl custom engine and rolling stock bodies that could be made with a CNC router or all of the kewl scenery molds or, like one of the hacks to be published pretty soon – cutting out custom, raised track control panels!

Just so you know, I am actually wayyyy further along into building the CNC router than the picture above would suggest – that was the only picture I had handy but I will be taking so more up to date pics. I’m actually nearly done with it. I can’t wait to get this making model railroading stuff. In fact, I think I’m going to publish a series of CNC railroad hacks, maybe an entire layout? hmmmmmmm….. I’ll be letting you know real soon – keep tuned.
